Blindsided By Attachments?

Attachment theories why do people latch onto to people, or things that might not have their best interest at heart.  “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us,” John 1:14.  Wouldn’t  you rather be attached to God’s word He has given to you? God’s word should be used as a weapons against your enemies? God’s word Is full of truth.”

God’s word Is always consistent, humans are not, their feelings about someone, or some things can change on a daily basis. That’s why so many people expectations are not met. ” No weapon formed against you shall prosper And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, And their righteousness is from Me,” Says the Lord.” Isaiah 54:17

When you put your trust In God first everything else will be taken care of…for you. How many people are In unhealthy relationships, or latch onto dogs, or material things because they are missing that special something in their life? It’s no wonder that some people feel lonely, sad, depressed, and …. The enemy loves provoking your negative emotions. He constantly works on your heart, mind, and soul, so that He will win you Into his kingdom.

Hence; spiritual bankruptcy Is one of Satan biggest traps He sets for luke warm believers of God’s word. He knows when you spend insufficient amounts of time nurturing ones owns spirit with God’s word. That you are a easy prey for Him. He’ll use this weakness you have to lure you In making foolish decisions.

Satan loves using drugs, sex, greed, other people problems to drain you and keep you spiritually bankrupt. When  you are blindsided by your emotions, material things, or financial attachments it can drain the spiritual life out you, and your wallet If your not seeking after God’s word.

Your God-given destiny is nothing to play with…you have witches and demons assigned to the cancellation of your God-given promises. You must push beyond the distraction and strongholds to complete your expected end! God Is with you Jer29:11

It’s an everyday uphill battle trying to maintain your mental and spiritual growth.  Again, Satan loves to attach onto any weakness, or door that you leave open In your mind, or heart. For instance, when we attach ourselves onto, or hook up with the wrong people everything In our world will eventually be destroyed, or turned upside.

That’s why God specifically gives Instruction on who to hang around…..He points us to certain people to fellowship with. ” Therefore, when we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,” Hebrews 12:1.

Sadly, some people have no clue about what God’s plans are for their life. Hosea 4:6 states how ” For my people are destroyed for their lack of knowledge”, what we say and do to others will effect entire generations. This Is why Jesus prays to the father above and ask Him for our forgiveness ” for they know not what they do.”Luke 23:34.

Some of us do know what we are doing to others and may get joy out of kicking someone down when they are down.  We all know that Satan Is behind that mindset and Is wining over that poor soul.  Yes, power and control Is the enemies best friends, and when he attaches one of His “hence men” into your life and onto your back, you will be spiritually drained, unless you serve a God that Is bigger than your enemies.

Don’t Hate…

People are put in our lives for many reasons and sometimes we need to love them even if they are thorns in our side. Jesus says,” It is easy to love a person who loves you back, but much harder to love your enemy“. We are supposed to love those who hate us. That’s right love them back to Christ whether you get along, or not. People need people.

Love them back to Christ…don’t hate them!  How can God‘s spirit possibly be a part of your being if you’re hating? Aren’t you suppose to be your brother‘s and/or sister’s keeper, and aren’t they suppose to be yours? Seriously when a person comes to you for your help what do you do?  If and elderly person needs a young persons help how do you respond? You can either ignore them, lead them into a ditch, leave them alone, or lead them back to God’s pathways.

Nowadays people develop relationships with an attitude of what can you give me, or do for me?  This is a very dangerous mindset, In my opinion, because you could be sacrificing the deepest love, or friendship you can ever imagine, If your  basing all your friendships by what a person can bring to your table. It’s a sad affair, or mindset to be In, because everyone loses at the end.

What’s a world filled with greedy people who only value friendships for their material gain? No man/woman is meant to be an island standing alone, all on their own. That’s why from time to time some of us need to go back and be reminded how people use to treat each other like their own brother’s, or sister’s.

Some of us have lost our touch, focus, and faith in what God will do for us through these new friendships we make.  May be some of us do need to go back to His original plan and purpose for our lives, instead of worrying about who will be our next benefactor in our new relationships.  God is your primary provider and benefactor… We all should seek Him and stop chasing after your own values so that our love life’s will become spiritually richer, then everything else will be added to you!

May be we all should take a moment to exam our hearts each time we meet a new friend to find out why we really want to befriend them in the first place. What are your thoughts?

More Changes? Transformation!

When God decides to make changes in your life it can mean great things are getting ready to occur even though you may not be feeling so great. You just have to move your I feel-ism feelings out-of-the-way and trust in Him to take care of your needs. Most of us are familiar with the famous bible scripture, “God will never leave you nor forsake you.” When you feel like your life’s comfort zone are changing call on the name of the LORD.  He is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.”  Proverbs 18:10.

Being in the dark about what’s happening to you is no fun at all, that’s why God’s wants you to see things from His perspective. His 20/20 visions keeps your mind eye’s from your blind spot, and helps you to feel strong and courageous.   Deuteronomy 3 1:6, Do not be afraid or terrified because of  change for the LORD your God is with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.

I still recall as if it were yesterday a major change in Sophia’s life.  She had a drug problem so bad that her drug habit came before everything in her life.  She stop caring about everything.  She lost everything also: her children, her house, her morals, and her job…  The only thing she had going for her was her belief in God, And if it wasn’t for her faith in God she would not had been able to overcome her drug addiction.  Many of us know without faith it is impossible  to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek him.”  Hebrews 11:6

Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.” Proverb 3:5 then you will be ready when the storms come into your life.  A storm is nothing more than a blessing waiting to manifest in your life. A tree that’s planted by the water grows continually. Trees planted near water still go through stormy weather.  Storms are God’s way of cleaning  out your spiritual closet from all that emotional baggage that’s weighing you down.

When God’s ready to promote you some major life changes may have to be made.  O’God Create in me a clean heart, and make me into the person you want me to be.  Of course, you may be comfortable with the way things are in your life, or may be your ready for a change.  What ever your feelings are…don’t allow the three D’s, disappointment, depression, and discouragement to get you down. You can attempt to drag your feet, stand still, whine, and complain all you want, but God will still change you.  Change is Inevitable!  You may not want to go back to the way it use to be!

It could be a change in career move that has been weighing you down, or a change in a destructive relationship.  You can look at it as a loss, or as if you’re in between your blessings”, for what God is getting ready to do in your life.  You have to know and believe that God has already prepared you for this new change…. “He has prepared a table in the presence of your enemy’s and has anointed your head with oil.” In other words your already emotionally prepared to weather this storm. You just have to trust in God and start exercising your faith muscle. You don’t have to rely on your own understanding. You can depend on God to see you through. Change can be great, but change is never easy.  You fight to hold on, or you fight to let go… Continue reading

OMG! Do Young People Over use God’s Name?

Although God has already designed your “fate”in life.  Your very own personal predetermine destiny for you. He allows you to choose which path you are going to follow, either your own, or His. In addition to His wonderful generosity to you… He gave you a set of parent’s , to provide for you, to protect you , and guide you, until the age of 18.  Wow! Your very own free will. A set of parent’s to support you until the age eighteen!  What more can a person ask for? What an awesome God is He ?  If it wasn’t for God’s love where would a lot of young people end up?

From the very beginning of your life, God gave you a set of keys, to start your life’s engine, and a steering wheel to steer your life in the direction of your choice. You are given a free will to accept, or reject Him. You should at least thank God for this…  A lot of young people lose focus of their God-given birth rights.  And when this happens, a lot of young people lose focus of their fate, and ignore God’s word. They replace God’s word with: recreational drug use, over use of technology, sexual promiscuity, and joining gangs in order to fill that missing someone in their hearts.

What’s missing? It’s the Spirit of God in them.  Studies show that at the age of twenty-five your brain is fully developed, and by adulthood the heart is fully developed. In most western countries your considered an adult at the age of 18, but the legal age of drinking varies between 18-21. I believe that if you are still doing things like: drinking, smoking, and partying everyday at twenty five, that’s probably what you’ll be doing for a long time. You should really be calling on God’s name to get you out of this lifestyle. No ones perfect, and “all have sin and come short of the glory of God.”  That’s why God wants us to use Him as our life time mentor.

You can avoid  lots of pain, heartache, and bad choices by choosing the path He has assigned for you. If you decide to use God as your guide, and mentor you can’t go wrong. When you walk along with God you gain access to His divine wisdom and protection.  Every young person needs this, a mentor, and someone in their life who will hold them responsible, and accountable for their behaviors. Why not rely on God’s support for this?  You can depend on Him and trust Him to see you through your storms. Besides, the first name a young person usually calls on when they are in trouble is God’s name anyway. He has your back!

Young people are bombarded with way too many life choices, and obstacles to overcome. They can’t afford to walk it alone. Many young people fail at this age because some get tired of attending church services that have nothing tangible to offer them, and some have never made the choice to have a personal relationship with God yet. A young person needs to be reminded that, at this age being in God’s business, is the best business to be involved in. Church ministry’s should welcome young people who have a strong desire for leadership positions who want to recruit for God‘s kingdom.

May young people never give up on God’s word.  May young people who are set ablaze during church gathering never get tired of doing whatever it takes to spread the fame of Jesus — and may your leaders, churches and ministries welcome your passion with open arms.  A young person really can’t afford to omit God out of his or her life with out replacing Him with something else. That would be like having a body that functions without a brain, and  trying to replace it with another person’s brain, or like driving a car without gasoline, and replacing the gas with orange juice instead.

Your body can’t live without a heart, and your spirit can’t live with out God’s word either.  He’s where you get your fuel so that you can continue to steer your life’s engine. Yes, I get it.  A young person can choose to lean towards their own understanding, and some do, but God’s understanding is the highest.

A Wake-Up Call: Why more than 95% of Unmarried Couples Share Their Bed

Why do so many couples prefer, or think that “cheating and sleeping around before marriage” is a God-given right to them?  Okay, I get some of it– but maybe not the whole picture.  A lot of unmarried couples share their bed, their  home, their schedules, their bills, car notes, church pews, and their parenting skills. But they don’t share the last name, or a marriage certificate.  Males  are programmed with  strong sexual appetites. Is this an excuses for them being promiscuous or sharing your bed though?  Male reasoning, presumes, that it’s not their fault that their tallywhacker has an appetite like their stomach.  It’s a male’s nature to have that urge, to be relieved.  Ladies, what are some excuses we use for sleeping around? Victims of incest or child abuse are the number one stories. Satan loves using our weaknesses, past hurts, and pains, to trap us into making some foolish life decisions.

Maybe this is one of the reasons more women attend churches than men? They have been strung along emotionally in relationships for so long their tired of playing house. I can easily understand why a lot of men are not to quick to rush into marriage. By the time a women reaches thirty-something, if she not married , she needs to be under God’s protection, in my opinion. Can you imagine her praying to God asking for a husband and yet she has no standards? Thank God for salvation and forgiveness. Can you imagine the male buying into the fact that he can no longer share his tallywhacker with other women? He’s thinking  you supported the open relationship with him in the first place. He thinking that’s a lot power to be given up to one woman who all of a sudden now wants standards. Besides, he’s used to having other ladies lined up to sleep with him when you start acting weird towards him. Ladies, we need to stop being so loose with our standards and start being obedient to God’s instructions.

God knew that men were going to have a hard time controlling their tallywhackers when he created him. That’s why a man knows he needs a women. Genesis 2:24-25, “For this cause a man shall leave his father and mother and shall cleave to his wife, and they shall become one flesh…” God created man with this particular body part in mind to procreate and to have pleasure.  That’s were women come into the picture. Ladies, If your going to be that special pleasure someone for him, you should have his last name.  There are too many women who are no longer reinforcing God’s requirements for men? Ladies, I had to do this to get my husband, and so can you. Ladies, that’s the least we can do for our children’s sake. There’s are lots of benefits having the same last name.

Your husband will “whisper” to you, in you ear, that as long your fulfilling his needs he will be loyal.  But, if you not married to him “why should you expect him to stay loyal? Your not showing him that you have any self-respect, he’s already milking you.  There are tons of benefits that come along with being married. And there are lots of women out there who do set standards, and those are the women that men marry. There’s to many women who will not set the bar high enough for themselves. It’s no wonder,  some men “cheat” and act like, it’s their “God-given right.” Ladies don’t be afraid to raise the bar, if he doesn’t want to marry you then you move on with your life. I did and it worked in my favor.

A Godly Love is the Highest Form of Love You Can Get!

Because God  First Loved Me.  A Godly Love is the Highest Form of Love You Can Get.

 by Michelle Meadows-T/MMT

Praise and Worship wants to thank all of the FB members for supporting this page. Thank you for visiting these post as I continue to press towards my high calling. God is love and love is God that’s the only way I can explain why I am still able to continue sharing these morning messages publicly. It’s definitely by the grace of God.

We all are expected to exchange love with each other on a daily basis. The three types of Godly love I am referring to are: Agape, philia, and eros love.  We exchange these types of love on daily basis, with our spouse, family members, friends, neighbors, or coworkers. Being able to give and receive Love should be one of your ultimate goals.  Jesus says, “that you should forgive a person  seventy times seven.” I don’t think none of us will live that long, but there is a lesson to learn in this.  I’m guessing he wants all of us to let go of all the anger, hurt, guilt, and betrayals feelings, so that you can begin to focus your heart onto God’s words again.

That means he wants you to let go of the hurt your momma, your daddy, your sister, your brother, your aunt, your boo, your spouse, or who ever it was that hurt you, let it go now!  I don’t why people insist on holding onto grudges, and keeping their relationships so complex. Of course there are going to be some people you may not like anymore, but you can still treat them well. God specifically notes, ” he will take vengeance for sins committed against you.”  Your relationships are only as complex as you make them.

Love is a strange phenomenon that we all are capable of and expected to practice. God expects us to love not to hate or mistreat people, that’s why we here. We all should be in business to love. God is love and love is God. My wish is for people to go around forgiving each other, so that their love will be reciprocated the way God planned. Having a Godly love is the highest form of love you can get. I Thank God for creating of love.

Wonderful Day to Ask God to Impart His Wisdom Into Your Life  so that you will
become the man, or women he wants you to be!

Looking back over the year, I often ask myself the question where would I be if I did not have faith in God? Some of my own family members believe it’s my excuse to depend on an abstract deity, so that I will not have to take full responsibility for my own thoughts and behaviors. No it’s not that for me. It’s my choice to serve God. Serving God Is not about blaming ones thoughts and behaviors on God. It’s about me having a strong desire to be the woman God’s wants me to be.

God says, “ He does wants us to cast all of our cares onto him.” Jesus says “For my yoke is easy and my burden light”~Matthews 11:30, Some people may not agree with this, and think that serving God is a facade to hide all the things one may doing wrong.  It’s a God given gift, to be able to interact with him on a daily basis. To be able to go to God with in your own minds eye, and heart is a miracle in it itself.  I don’t think to many people willingly refuse to engage their imagination about the  concept God even if they decide not to believe in him, or his words.

I rather be made fun of, mocked, called foolish, and crazy, than to give up my belief in God. Again, I know where I would be without him. I am not perfect, but God is. “ Oh how much do we lose by not educating our imagination to dwell upon divine Godly things…?”
